Job summary

Databricks in Stockholm is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect Manager to lead a team of SSA’s responsible for critical elements of the technical sales cycle. You will hire, train, and grow a diverse group of experts in enterprise software, data engineering, and ML/AI, driving strategic customer engagements.

You will mentor team members, collaborate with Sales and Product Management, and steward regional growth while expanding platform usage across large accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales and/or post-sales teams, with a track record of managing elite technical contributors.
• 3+ years of experience in developing the data and AI space with technical platforms (e.g., distributed computing, cloud data warehousing, MLOps, or generative AI infrastructure).
• Elite command of qualification methodologies, architecture validation, POC/MVP management, and value-selling frameworks.
• Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding strategic data infrastructure decisions.
• Experience hiring, ramping, and promoting team members into larger roles.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Forward Deployed Engineering.

• Drive and exceed regional consumption targets by deploying technical experts to high-priority use cases.
• Mentor team members and build a clear career path within Field Engineering.
