Job summary

Telia Finance AB, a Nordic-focused finance arm of Telia Company, is seeking a collaborative Financial Controller to drive accurate accounting, reporting, and process improvements across multiple Nordic entities. The role is hybrid and based in Solna, Sweden, offering a collaborative environment that values development and impactful contributions.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, lead closing activities, oversee tax and regulatory matters, and support A/R and A/P processes while driving

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting, financial closing, and reporting processes.
• Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliation routines is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Agresso / Unit4) and finance process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of financial services, regulated industries, or Nordic business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, account reconciliations, and the preparation of accurate financial records
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee tax, statutory, and regulatory accounting matters while ensuring compliance across Nordic legal entities and branches
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient financial operations
• Drive process improvements and finance development initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability within the finance function
