Job summary

Tele2, a listed company in Sweden, seeks a Senior Financial Controller to strengthen the accounting environment within a high-performing finance organization. You will play a key role in a major transformation journey including ERP evolution and strategic M&A activity.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with auditors, strong IFRS/K3 experience, and the ability to drive improvements across monthly and annual closings while supporting business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience from accounting/financial control or similar.
• Experience with IFRS, K3 and quarterly and annual reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• High proficiency in Excel and curiosity for AI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Monthly, quarterly and annual closings including statutory reporting.
• Group accounting & reporting according to IFRS regulations.
• VAT and corporate tax reporting including Pillar 2.
• Support external audits and collaborate with auditors.
• Evaluate accounting implications of new initiatives.
