BNP Paribas is seeking an experienced Events Manager to join the Nordic communications team. You will plan and oversee corporate and sponsorship events for the Nordic region, coordinating with internal partners and external vendors, and supporting employer branding initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years in business administration, hospitality, or events in financial services, excellent English and a Nordic language, and a proven ability to manage complex

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in events in the Financial Services sector, or experience delivering events to corporate/institutional clients.
• Excellent communication skills delivering messages to internal and external audiences.
• Positive and energetic personality.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking ability.
• Comfortable welcoming clients as a host.
• Excellent English skills and fluency in one other Nordic language.
• Experience from working at a large global organization and/or across several Nordic countries is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan events from start to finish according to requirements and objectives.
• Prepare event budgets and ensure adherence.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for venues, catering, and branding materials.
• Identify branding opportunities connected to each event.
• Draft texts for invitations, reminders and follow-up emails.
• Manage invitation lists and send invitations, reminders and follow-up emails.
• Project manage events on-site and set up exhibition stands and branding at the venue (travel to other Nordic countries may be required).
• Welcome and sign-in guests at events.
• Organize and lead briefing calls with client-facing teams to overview setup and provide instructions.
• Ensure events run smoothly and resolve any problems that occur.
• Ensure internal policies and approvals are followed for events.
• Analyze the event's success, collect feedback from stakeholders and prepare reports.
• Suggest improvements and new event concepts.
