Matritel Kft is seeking an Automation Engineer – Motion Safety in Lund, Sweden. You will contribute to safety solutions for motion control and support PLC-based automation projects in an industrial setting.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in automation, with strong English communication and documentation skills. This is a full-time, 12-month contract with potential extension in a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in developing, integrating, and commissioning industrial automation systems.
Experience with verification and validation of automation systems.
Experience producing technical documentation for automation projects.
Familiarity with machinery risk assessments and functional safety processes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory).

Responsabilités

Assess motion hazards and establish safety requirements per EN ISO 12100/13849.
Develop and implement functional safety solutions for motion control.
Support integration of safety systems into PLC-controlled environments.
Participate in verification and validation of safety functions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for safety systems and automation processes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliant safety implementations.
