Job summary

IKEA Marketing & Communication is seeking a Motion & Post Production Manager in Älmhult to lead, develop and future-proof the Motion & Post Production business. You will own overall performance, capability planning and direct leadership of Photographers and Lighting Technicians.

You will also guide the Team Manager for Motion & Post Production and drive digital storytelling, production capabilities, and efficiency across the function.

Qualifications

• Several years in a leadership role with people, business and org development.
• Experience leading creative, production or content teams.
• Experience leading through leaders and creating conditions for others to succeed.
• Strong understanding of photography, motion media and post-production workflows and tools.
• Good understanding of emerging technologies, AI and automation in creative environments.

You willbe responsible forthe overall performance,developmentand future direction of the Motion &Post Productionarea, ensuring that our capabilities continue to evolve in line with business needs, technologicaladvancementsand changing customer expectations.

As Motion &Post ProductionManager, you will lead through a combination of direct leadership and leadership through leaders.

You will have direct people leadership responsibility forPhotographers and Lighting Technicians, while also leading and developing theTeam Manager for Motion &Post Production, whois responsible forthe daily operational leadership of Retouch & Postproduction Artists, Editors and Post Producers.

You report to the Production Manager and are a member of the Production Leadership Team.Together with your leadership colleagues, you contribute to building a future-ready production organization that combines creativity, operationalexcellenceand business impact.

As a Motion &Post ProductionManager you will:

Lead and develop the Motion &Post Productionbusiness area, ensuring strong business performance and long-term capability development.

Own the overall business responsibility for Motion &Post Production, including strategic priorities, competencedevelopmentand future capability planning.

Lead and develop Photographers and Lighting Technicians, creating the conditions for growth,engagementand high performance.

Lead,coachand develop the Team Manager, enabling operational excellence andstrong teamperformance across the wider Motion &Post Productionorganization.

Drive the transformation towards more dynamic storytelling, scalable contentcreationand future-oriented production capabilities.

Identifyand implement opportunities within AI,automationand new production technologies to strengthen creativity,efficiencyand business value.

Secure a modern,scalableand flexible production environment in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across creative,productionand business functions.

Drive continuous improvement of workflows, tools,processesand ways of working.

Ensure high-quality,consistentand cost-effective content delivery through strong governance, clearprocessesand best practice implementation.

Define future competence needs and secure succession planning and capability growth across the function.

Foster an inclusive, collaborative and psychologically safe culture where creativity, curiosity and continuous learning thrive.

Build andmaintainstrong internal and external networks to bring inspiration,innovationand industry insights into the business.

Qualifications

We believe you are an experienced leader with the ability to balance strategic thinking, businessprioritiesand peopledevelopment.

You have:

Several years of experience in a leadership role with responsibility for people,businessand organizational development.
