Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Västerås, Sweden, is seeking two System Development Specialists to join our MES team. You will develop and maintain .NET applications, design RESTful APIs, and contribute across full-stack development.

You'll work with Git and Azure DevOps in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment to modernize the MES stack and drive architectural improvements. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET.
• 3+ years building REST Web APIs and modern HTML/CSS front-ends.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio advantageous.
• Experience with web apps and service-oriented architecture.
• Interest in cyber and information security.
• Experience with unit testing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain .NET applications (desktop and web) using C#.
• Design, build, and document RESTful Web APIs.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders, driving initiatives end-to-end.
• Support operators, factory staff, and warehouse personnel using the MES.
• Work with Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Participate in migrating the MES to a new generation tech stack, and bring ideas to shape its future evolution.
