Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Memphis, TN is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to service medical imaging equipment at customer sites. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.

Role includes delivering timely repairs, training operators, managing territory finances, and maintaining company assets. Requires 3+ years in biomedical engineering or field service, valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with service tools and test equipment, able to work individually or in a team.
• Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur).
• 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver's license with ability to drive day and night.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and system schematics.
• Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Medical Imaging Equipment in the Memphis, TN area.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators for optimal system performance.
• Manage territory financial performance, meeting or exceeding revenue, expense control and inventory management.
• Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts.
• Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers and perform administrative duties accurately.
