Job summary

Villa Valentina, part of Urban Italian Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and to support our chefs with food preparation and cleanliness. This role offers a great entry point into a professional kitchen within a vibrant hospitality group.

You will learn HACCP hygiene standards, work as part of a dynamic team, and contribute to delivering high-quality Mediterranean dishes in a lively restaurant setting across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation
• Help keep kitchen areas clean, organised and ready for service
• Assist chefs during preparation and service when required
• Receive, store and organise ingredients and deliveries correctly
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Support with stock rotation and minimise food waste
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas
• Work closely with the whole kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Bring a positive and helpful attitude to every shift

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly every day, working alongside our chefs, you’ll support with food preparation, organisation and cleanliness while learning how a busy professional kitchen operates. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to develop their skills within hospitality.
