Job summary

GKN Aerospace Sweden in Trollhättan/Hallstahammar is seeking a Lean Deployment Leader to drive continuous improvement across Material Solutions. You will lead Lean initiatives, build capability and embed Lean culture across multiple sites.

The role involves coaching leaders, facilitating workshops, and coordinating Lean events, with travel up to 50% within Sweden. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, an engineering degree, and a proven track record of delivering tangible improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Lean methodologies and tools across sites.
• Strong ability to facilitate workshops and lead improvement events.
• Experience coaching leaders and teams within Lean principles.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BSc degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant business experience.
• Deep understanding of Lean Thinking and Lean Leadership.
• Ability to influence the site Leadership Team.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor highly skilled team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Lean improvement initiatives across the business area.
• Coach and support leaders and team members in Lean culture, principles, and tools.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Lean improvement events across different sites.
• Act as a change agent to embed continuous improvement thinking into everyday work.
• Support daily operations with problem-solving and improvement activities.
• Facilitate workshops, Improvement events, and other structured improvement sessions.
• Ensure consistent deployment of Lean practices and standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities and priorities.
