Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Sweden seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence on the shop floor. You will partner with factory leaders to identify bottlenecks, implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and lead transformational projects that improve end-to-end value streams.

You will coach teams, conduct Gemba walks, and promote standardization and benchmarking across sites, with minimum 20% travel to support factories regionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience on the shop floor with Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Experience leading Kaizen Events and Gemba activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted CI advisor to factory and leadership teams.
• Lead data-driven optimization initiatives across the value chain.
• Drive Kaizen events, rapid improvements, and sustainable results.
• Coach and mentor in Lean Six Sigma and certification programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to redesign processes.
• Monitor KPI-driven results and ensure measurable impact.
• Travel to factories regionally (minimum 20% travel).
