Job summary

GKN Aerospace seeks a driven Lean Deployment Leader to lead and accelerate the continuous improvement journey for Material Solutions in Sweden. You will drive Lean initiatives, build capability, and embed Lean culture across multiple sites, enabling sustainable improvements and operational performance.

The role is based in Trollhättan or Hallstahammar, with split-site responsibilities and travel up to 50% within Sweden.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Lean methodologies and tools.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and lead improvement events.
• Experience coaching leaders and teams in Lean principles.
• Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BSc degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant business experience.
• Thorough understanding of Lean Thinking and Lean Leadership.
• Ability to influence the site Leadership Team.
• Second or advanced degree in Business.
• Lean Certification from a reputable certifying body or benchmark company.
• Aerospace supply chain experience.
• Communication skills in Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Lean improvement initiatives across the business area.
• Coach and support leaders and team members in Lean culture, principles, and tools.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Lean improvement events across different sites.
• Act as a change agent to embed continuous improvement thinking into everyday work.
• Support daily operations with problem-solving and improvement activities.
• Facilitate workshops, Improvement events, and other structured improvement sessions.
• Ensure consistent deployment of Lean practices and standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities and priorities.
