Job summary

SilverBack is recruiting for an experienced Lead Planning & Scheduling professional to support a major heavy industrial construction project in Sweden. The role focuses on managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and challenging contractor and EPCM schedules to identify critical path risks and mitigation needs.

You will act as the main focal point for planning, review schedules for quality, monitor the IMS, forecast progress, and support recovery planning as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Lead Planner, Senior Planner, Planning Manager, or similar role.
• Strong experience in large-scale industrial, infrastructure, EPC, or EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / planning tools.
• Experience managing Integrated Master Schedules.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis, forecasting, and schedule risk.
• EU work authorisation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main focal point for planning and scheduling within the assigned project area
• Review and challenge EPCM and contractor schedules for quality, logic, completeness, and compliance
• Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Monitor critical path, dependencies, milestones, and schedule risks
• Perform schedule forecasting based on actual site progress
• Support recovery planning and mitigation strategies for delays
• Participate in planning meetings, workshops, and site coordination reviews
• Provide schedule reporting and analysis to project leadership

The role focuses heavily on managing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), reviewing contractor and EPCM schedules, identifying critical path risks, challenging schedule assumptions, and supporting mitigation and recovery planning when required.
