Job summary

SilverBack is seeking an experienced Lead Planning & Scheduling professional for a major heavy industrial construction project in Sweden. The role centers on managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and reviewing contractor and EPCM schedules to identify critical path risks and support mitigations.

You will lead planning efforts, challenge assumptions, and provide schedule reporting to project leadership, with relocation and accommodation support provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning on large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• EU work authorisation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main planning and scheduling focal point for the project area.
• Review EPCM and contractor schedules for quality and logic.
• Develop, maintain and manage the IMS.
• Monitor critical path, dependencies, milestones and risks.
• Forecast schedule progression based on site progress.
• Support recovery planning and mitigation for delays.
• Participate in planning meetings and site coordination reviews.
• Provide schedule reporting to project leadership.

SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Lead Planning & Scheduling professional to support a major heavy industrial construction project in Sweden.

The role focuses heavily on managing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), reviewing contractor and EPCM schedules, identifying critical path risks, challenging schedule assumptions, and supporting mitigation and recovery planning when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main focal point for planning and scheduling within the assigned project area
• Review and challenge EPCM and contractor schedules for quality, logic, completeness, and compliance
• Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Monitor critical path, dependencies, milestones, and schedule risks
• Perform schedule forecasting based on actual site progress
• Support recovery planning and mitigation strategies for delays
• Participate in planning meetings, workshops, and site coordination reviews
• Provide schedule reporting and analysis to project leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Lead Planner, Senior Planner, Planning Manager, or similar role
• Strong experience in large-scale industrial, infrastructure, EPC, or EPCM projects
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / planning tools
• Experience managing Integrated Master Schedules
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis, forecasting, and schedule risk
• EU work authorisation preferred
