Job summary

Axis Communications in Lund, Sweden, seeks a Team Lead and Embedded Software Engineer to guide the System Products Recorder team while contributing to the codebase in Linux user space. The dual role combines leadership of backlog, sprints, and stakeholders with hands-on development in C, Go, and Python in an embedded Linux environment.

You will remove obstacles, define priorities, and foster collaboration across product management, development teams, testers, and external partners.

Qualifications

Experience in software development in an embedded environment, preferably Linux user space.
Experience in a leading or coordinating role, such as team lead, agile lead, scrum master, backlog owner, or technical project manager.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Develop software in Linux user space and maintain the team backlog for delivery.
Facilitate agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement within the team.
Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external partners, managing timelines and risks.
Build relationships across the organization to keep information flowing and decisions moving.
Contribute hands-on in code and discuss trade-offs with the team.
