Job summary

Axis Communications in Linköping seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to join the hardware development team. You will work across software, hardware, and product management to translate complex challenges into clear requirements and robust solutions.

Develop in C, C++, or Rust for embedded Linux and MCU, write tests, and collaborate with colleagues across sites. The role is on-site in Ebbepark with a collaborative culture and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• In addition, you have worked for at least 5 years in a relevant field and have a university degree in computer science, engineering physics or a similar relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Axis to deliver products.
• Translate complex technical challenges into clear requirements and solutions.
• Build functional, scalable and high-quality software across a common code base.
• Develop software in C, C++ or Rust for embedded Linux systems and MCU.
• Use Git, Gerrit and GitHub for revision handling and review.
• Write unit and system tests.
• AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot or similar tools.
