Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Center of Excellence in Stockholm, working on cloud platform features, automation, and landing zones. You’ll start from a well-defined backlog and grow alongside senior colleagues through hands-on problem solving.

You’ll bring a foundation in software development, cloud tech (Azure preferred), and IaC knowledge. Learning is central, and collaboration across teams will help deliver business value.

A foundation in cloud or related technologies helps you get started, while your willingness to learn is central to your success.Your background includesExperience in software development, preferably C#, and an interest in backend development.An understanding of infrastructure as code; Terraform knowledge is an advantage.Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, and a basic understanding of security, networking and identities.Experience with CI/CD or DevOps ways of working, preferably GitHub Actions; PowerShell or Python Scripting is an advantage.Strong English communication skills; Swedish and foundational Microsoft Azure certifications are advantages.Open and proactive, you’re keen to learn, develop and take on new challenges.
