Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Platform Engineer to shape how development teams across the organization build and operate integrations at scale. You’ll create reusable capabilities, templates, and automation to enable self-service delivery across APIs, integrations, and event-driven solutions.

You will work with Azure Integration Services, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC while ensuring security and reliability. Join a team focused on scalable platform capabilities and the developer experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, Service Bus or Event Grid).
• Strong programming skills in C# or Python with scripting in Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with API gateways, event-driven architectures and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build self-service integration builder using reusable platform components and templates.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation utilities for platform delivery.
• Embed security, logging, reliability and compliance controls into pipelines.
• Onboard and support dev teams using the platform and improve capabilities from feedback.
• Troubleshoot live integrations and own platform components in production.

Experience with end-to-end integration delivery is great to have, although this work centers on reusable platform capabilities rather than individual integrations. Working from vendor-agnostic principles, you turn standards and architectural direction into practical platform capabilities that perform reliably in production. You’re part of the PA Engineering Platforms Integration team and report to the Competence Manager.Job responsibilities:Build and maintain our self-service integration builder using reusable platform components, templates and shared services for APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions built on top of Azure Integration Services.Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation services and utilities that support platform delivery and operations.Embed security, logging, reliability, quality and compliance controls into pipelines and templates.Translate architecture and technical standards into consistent, production-ready implementation patterns.Onboard and support development teams using the platform, improving its capabilities based on their feedback.Troubleshoot live integrations and take ownership of platform components in production.LocationThis position is based at the World Trade Center in Stockholm or Mossvägen in Sandviken.Your profileYou’re an experienced engineer with a strong software development foundation and exposure to platform engineering, DevOps and enterprise integration environments. Translating architectural direction and technical standards into reusable solutions comes naturally to you, and you enjoy creating capabilities that other development teams can adopt with confidence.Your background also includes:Hands-on production experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), and Service Bus or Event Grid.Strong programming skills in C# or Python, combined with the ability to write and troubleshoot Bash and/or PowerShell scripts.Experience with integration patterns, including APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, and API gateways or enterprise integration platforms.Hands-on experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or similar), and cloud-native environments.Experience working with distributed systems and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Additionally, experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular, as well as relational and NoSQL databases, is considered an advantage.With a developer-first mindset, you balance high technical standards with pragmatic decisions that move work forward.
