Job summary

Zurich Nordic is seeking a Junior Underwriter to join the Financial Lines team in Sweden. You will develop underwriting skills, assess risk, prepare quotes, and build relationships with brokers and customers in an international environment.

You will learn from a collaborative team and gradually take on more responsibility for your own portfolio, while supporting ongoing risk assessment and policy terms. This is an excellent entry path in commercial insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, law, business, finance, insurance, or another relevant field.
• Interest in commercial insurance, risk analysis and customer relationships.
• Willingness to learn and develop within Financial Lines underwriting.
• Solid verbal and written communication in English and Swedish (C2 level).

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting for new business and renewals.
• Analyze information to support risk assessment and underwriting decisions.
• Prepare quotations and policy-related materials.
• Collaborate with brokers and customers to deliver high service levels.
• Contribute to customer acquisition, retention and profitable portfolio development.
• Develop understanding of Zurich’s Financial Lines offering and the broader market.
