Zurich Nordic is seeking a Junior Underwriter to join the Financial Lines team in Sweden. You will develop underwriting skills, assess risk, prepare quotes, and build relationships with brokers and customers in an international environment.
You will learn from a collaborative team and gradually take on more responsibility for your own portfolio, while supporting ongoing risk assessment and policy terms. This is an excellent entry path in commercial insurance.
We are looking for a Junior Underwriter to join our Financial Lines team in Sweden. This role is for someone who is curious, motivated to learn, and eager to grow in an international and business-driven environment.
You may already have some experience from insurance, law, finance, economics, or a related field. Most importantly, you have a strong interest in risk, client relationships, and developing a career in underwriting.
As a Junior Underwriter within Financial Lines, you will be part of an experienced and highly engaged underwriting team, working with products such as directors’ and officers’ liability insurance, professional indemnity, and crime insurance.
In this role, you will gradually develop your underwriting skills and learn how to assess and evaluate risk, prepare quotes and policy terms, support and manage insurance policies, analyse customer needs and tailor solutions, and build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
You will work closely with senior colleagues and have continuous guidance and support as you grow into taking more responsibility for your own portfolio over time.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step into underwriting and build a career within Financial Lines, in a supportive, knowledgeable, and international environment.
You are a collaborative team player with strong analytical skills. You demonstrate a business and customer focus, with a keen interest in building customer relationships and managing negotiations. You are adaptable, quick to respond to change, and comfortable working independently. At the same time, you excel at collaborating effectively with both customers and colleagues.
The selection process will run continuously, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Please note that, due to the summer holiday period, the recruitment process may take slightly longer than usual. We appreciate your understanding.
