Job summary

Ericsson is seeking SW Engineers for a Purpose Build RAN Layer 1 Software team in Stockholm to shape the next generation of mobile networks. You will learn Ericsson's design, implementation, testing and integration processes while tackling 5G/6G challenges alongside experienced developers.

You will work with C/C++ and Python, gaining exposure to AI-assisted tools, code reviews, and CI practices. Strong English communication and a passion for high-performance telecom systems are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications or related discipline.
• Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
• Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Experience using Python for data processing or ML in coursework or projects.

The skills you bring

• A recently completed, or soon to be completed, BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or a related discipline
• Programming experience in C/C++, Python
• Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
• Practical experience using Python for data processing, experimentation, or machine learning through university coursework, thesis work, or personal projects
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in software engineering, high-performance systems, and telecommunications
• Good communication skills in English
