Job summary

Ericsson is seeking SW Engineers to join the Purpose Build RAN Layer 1 Software team in Stockholm. You will develop and maintain Baseband software for 5G and contribute to future 6G RAN initiatives, collaborating with experienced peers to learn Ericsson's system design, implementation, testing and integration.

The role emphasizes learning, problem-solving, and teamwork, with exposure to AI-assisted development tools and CI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with strong programming foundation.
• Hands-on experience in C/C++ and Python, including data processing or ML projects.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RAN Layer 1 Baseband software for 5G/6G.
• Contribute to new RAN software generation and AI-assisted tooling.
• Collaborate with global teams across software, systems, and QA.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI activities.
