Job summary

Us3 Consulting seeks a Junior IT Controller / IT Project Controller to support the financial management of a major IT transformation programme in a standalone company setup in Sweden. The role focuses on IT controlling, project finance and cost tracking across multiple workstreams.

You will work with IT Project Managers, Finance and Procurement, gaining broad exposure to budgeting, forecasting and period-end closing in a fast-paced transformation environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in controlling, project controlling, FP&A or related finance role.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and variance analysis.
• Good understanding of CAPEX/OPEX and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support financial controlling of IT build-up and transformation projects.
• Support project managers with budget planning, forecasting and actual cost tracking.
• Monitor budgets, actuals, purchase orders, commitments and project spend.
• Prepare regular project controlling reports and management overviews.
• Analyse budget vs. forecast vs. actual variances and highlight key drivers.
• Track CAPEX/OPEX, invoices, accruals and project commitments.
• Support period-end closing and project-related financial activities.
• Provide financial tracking of external vendors and service providers.
• Identify and escape potential cost risks and deviations.
• Provide transparency of project costs across different workstreams.
• Contribute to development and improvement of IT controlling processes and reporting.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and management requests.
• 1-3 years of experience in controlling, project controlling, FP&A or related finance role.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, actual cost tracking and variance analysis.
• Good understanding of CAPEX/OPEX and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
• Experience working with ERP/finance systems.

Environment: IT Transformation / SAP Build-Up / Stand-Alone Company

We are looking for a Junior IT Controller / IT Project Controller to support the financial management of a major IT transformation programme. As we establish a new stand-alone company, we are rebuilding our IT infrastructure and SAP landscape from the ground up.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain broad exposure to IT controlling, project finance and transformation projects, working closely with IT Project Managers, Finance, Procurement and external suppliers.
