Job summary

PulseRise Technologies LTD is seeking a Senior Project Manager to represent the client's interests during a large SAP-to-Azure migration. You will govern the program, align business needs, and manage the delivery contractor across the full lifecycle from planning to go-live.

This senior, client-facing role requires authority in the room and relates to an enterprise-scale transformation with external execution handled by partners. Hybrid Stockholm work model applies.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience as a Project Manager on large IT transformation programs.
• Proven experience leading SAP infrastructure projects (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, BTP).
• Experience with SAP migrations from on-premise/data centers into Azure.
• Strong risk and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Nice to have: Azure migrations of enterprise-scale SAP landscapes.
• Nice to have: SAP and/or Azure certifications.

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to represent the client's side of a large-scale SAP infrastructure transformation, migrating an SAP landscape from an on-premise data center into Microsoft Azure. The technical migration itself is delivered by an external contractor, so this role is about governance rather than hands-on build work: aligning the migration with the business, managing stakeholders and the delivery contractor throughout the project, and keeping the many moving pieces on track. You'll coordinate across teams, own cutover planning, oversee testing and business readiness, and make sure compliance requirements are met at every stage. This is a senior, client-facing role that requires real authority in the room - steering a complex, multi-party transformation from the client's seat rather than executing tasks yourself. It's a strong fit for someone who has run large SAP infrastructure projects before and is comfortable being the single point of accountability toward the business while an external team handles delivery.

About the project

The project is a strategic transformation of the client's SAP infrastructure, migrating the entire SAP landscape out of a data center and into Microsoft Azure. The technical execution is being carried out by an external contractor, while the client needs a Senior PM to represent its interests throughout: governance, alignment with the business, and management of stakeholders and the delivery contractor across the full project lifecycle. The scope spans coordination across multiple teams, cutover planning, testing, business readiness, and compliance. Given the scale of the SAP landscape involved - spanning systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and BTP - the migration touches many parts of the business simultaneously, making careful sequencing and stakeholder alignment critical. It's an enterprise-scale program where the PM acts as the client's anchor point between the business and the technical delivery team for the full duration of the engagement.

You have

• 10-15+ years of experience as a Project Manager on large IT transformation programs
• Proven experience leading SAP infrastructure projects (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, BTP)
• Experience with SAP migrations from on-premise/data centers into Azure
• Strong risk and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with global system integrators and outsourced delivery providers
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Nice to have: experience with Azure migrations of enterprise-scale SAP landscapes
• Nice to have: SAP and/or Azure certifications
• Nice to have: experience in the Nordic region
