Job summary

Ericsson in Sweden is seeking an experienced ISAC expert to transform sensing concepts into deployable, commercially relevant network solutions. You will work across RAN, sensing workflows, signal processing, data and APIs, and customer-facing applications to define integrated systems.

You will collaborate with product management and 3GPP delegates to shape architectures for future networks, enabling distributed processing, sensor fusion and scalable architectural principles.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Integrated Sensing and Communication, radar or radio-based sensing.
• Sensing systems depth: object detection, tracking, measurement.
• Signal processing for sensing: detection and estimation.
• RAN and telecom system architecture mapping sensing to 5G/6G.
• Experience with sensing workflow management or API-based integration.
• Ability to convert business needs into system requirements.
• Strong systems thinking across technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and regulatory needs into clear system requirements.
• Define ISAC system architectures and changes in RAN/core structures.
• Develop concepts and proposals with RAN and other teams.
• Analyze interfaces and design trade-offs across the ISAC solution.
• Specify sensing workflow management and measurement control.
• Shape distributed processing and multi-client exposure of results.
• Identify gaps and drive alignment across teams.
• Contribute to prototypes and early product concepts.
• Interact with Product management to set requirements.
• Interact with 3GPP delegates.
