Job summary

TRATON Finance International, based in Södertälje, Sweden, seeks a Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting across its international business. You will support tax compliance, statutory reporting, and group reporting while strengthening data flows and reporting models.

You will work with stakeholders across markets, contribute to finance transformation, and drive improvements in internal controls, processes, and systems.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Have around four to five years of relevant experience in accounting, financial control or financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build or improve reporting models.
• Experience with financial reporting, period-end closing, and VAT/tax advantages.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual closing and financial reporting activities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform reconciliations and balance sheet reviews; follow up on open items.
• Prepare financial analyses and variance analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements and reporting to local authorities with market contacts and external advisors.
• Coordinate Tax reporting and support tax compliance across markets in scope.
• Act as a key contact for external auditors, authorities, banks and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to Group reporting and improve data flows and reporting structures.
