Job summary

WeQuel is seeking an Interface Management Engineer in Finspång to lead the establishment of an Interface Management Process and develop ICDs for the gas turbine package. The role involves coordinating interfaces across multiple systems and driving standardized, executable solutions in a dynamic environment.

You will own key deliverables, mentor colleagues, and ensure interfaces are defined, controlled and frozen to enable interchangeable supplier solutions and successful package delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience within interface management processes, preferably from automotive industry or similar.
• Technical knowledge of how to structure the format of ICDs and Interface Registers.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• General understanding of project management principles, including planning, execution and control.
• Strong problem-solving skills together with good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Development of the format for Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Registers
• Training of selected employees in the organization in the above process and format
• Leading the subject in pilot projects to verify process, tools and ways of working

We at WeQuel are now looking for an Interface Management Engineer in Finspång, where you will become an important part of the technical organization with a focus on interface management within a gas turbine package. You will ensure that technical interfaces between systems are established, standardized, controlled and maintained, enabling interchangeable supplier solutions, predictable integration and successful package delivery.

Your responsibilities:

• Establishment of an Interface Management Process, including process ownership and continuation

• Development of the format for Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Registers

• Training of selected employees in the organization in the above process and format

• Leading the subject in pilot projects to verify process, tools and ways of working

• Ensuring that system/module interfaces within the gas turbine package are defined, standardized, controlled and frozen

• Ownership of key deliverables: the Interface Management Process, Interface Control Documents (defining and managing physical and functional interfaces between system elements) and the Interface Register/Matrix (a contract-enforceable, database-based source defining ownership, status and document references)

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your own process forward while coordinating and collaborating across multiple interfaces within the organization.

Requirements:

Assignment details

• Start date: 2026-10-12

• Workload: 100%

• Onsite: Minimum 3–4 days/week in Finspång
