Job summary

WeQuel in Ludvika is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a client’s engineering team. The role focuses on IT/OT infrastructure, cyber security within electrical and electronic systems, and hands-on development and automation.

You will work onsite and remotely as needed, coordinate with internal groups, and contribute to reports, design, and testing. Start date 2026-10-15; end date 2027-10-14 as a consultancy with 100% scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in electrical/related field, or equivalent technical degree with extensive experience.
• 2–6 years in relevant field, or 10–15 years with alternative degree.
• Proficient English (spoken and written).
• Hands-on IT/OT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Hyper-V and Proxmox.
• Experience with AD and access control configuration.

Responsibilities

At WeQuel, we are now looking for an Electrical Engineer in Ludvika, where you'll become an important part of our client's engineering team, focusing on IT/OT infrastructure and cyber security within electrical and electronic systems.

Your responsibilities:

• Planning, design, development, testing, and installation of electrical/electronic components and systems, including automation

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of work experience within the relevant field together with a bachelor's or master's degree, alternatively another technical degree combined with 10–15 years of relevant work experience

• Working command of the English language, spoken and written

• Hands-on experience with IT/OT infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and Proxmox

• Experience with AD and access control configuration and maintenance

• Knowledge of cyber security, hardening concepts, syslog, and remote access concepts

Assignment details

• Location: Ludvika, Sweden (minimum 30% onsite required, remainder remote)

• Start date: 2026-10-15
