Job summary

WeQuel is seeking an Electrical System Engineer in Finspång to join the Low Voltage team within Electrical Systems. You will design and document customer-specific gas turbine electrical systems, collaborate with assembly, site, subcontractors and the project team to deliver complete electrical solutions.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and on-time delivery, with 2 positions available and 100% onsite work.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience within electrical engineering.
• Fluent English, Swedish is meritorious.
• Experience with low voltage systems and power distribution.
• Knowledge of electrical design and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and documentation for customer-specific gas turbine projects.
• Design and documentation of low voltage systems and equipment (start motors, batteries, frequency converters, UPS, switchgear).
• Provide technical support to assembly and site during project execution.
• Collaborate with assembly, site, subcontractors, purchasing and the project team.
• Ensure customer requirements are met in design, cost and time.
• Support projects through complete assembly at workshops.

Electrical System Engineer

We at WeQuel are now looking for an Electrical System Engineer in Finspång, where you will become an important part of the Low Voltage team within Electrical Systems – one of four construction teams that, together with the project lead engineer team, deliver complete electrical solutions for customer projects. The team consists of around 20 colleagues located in Sweden, India, Austria and the US. You will have a broad range of interfaces and work closely with assembly, site, subcontractors, purchasing and the project team, with a focus on customer-specific electrical design and documentation for low voltage equipment within the Medium Gas Turbine segment.

Your responsibilities:

• Electrical design and documentation for customer-specific gas turbine projects


• Design and documentation of low voltage systems and equipment, such as start motors, batteries, frequency converters, UPS systems and switchgear


• Technical support to assembly and site throughout project execution


• Collaboration with assembly, site, subcontractors, purchasing and the project team


• Close cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders


• Workshop attendance to support projects through complete assembly


• Ensuring customer requirements are met in design, cost and time


• Building strong partnerships across interfaces to secure smooth order execution

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your design work forward while collaborating with several interfaces within the organization.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience within electrical engineering


• Relevant education within electrical engineering


• Fluent English, spoken and written; Swedish is meritorious


• Experience with COMOS is advantageous; experience with SAP is also useful


• Experience with electrical engineering and power system analysis tools, such as ETAP, is an advantage


• Knowledge and practical experience with UPS or battery systems is an advantage


• Experience with SINAMICS drive systems and SIMATIC STARTER, particularly in configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting, is an advantage


• Previous experience with the customer's product line and other power generation products is valued


• Team player who values collaboration, diversity and a strong working environment


• Strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction, with the ability to deliver on time to the highest standard
