Job summary

Allgon is seeking an experienced Product Manager at our Gothenburg headquarters to turn customer, market and technical needs into a clear product strategy and roadmap.

You will work closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance and our subsidiaries to manage products through their lifecycle and drive value, growth and profitability.

Depending on your background, you may focus on strategic direction, technical product ownership, or a combination to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in engineering, technology or related field).
• At least five years of experience in Product Management or as a Product Owner.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic or embedded products and understanding of product lifecycle management.
• Experience across R&D, Sales and international subsidiaries in a structured product development process (e.g. stage-gate).
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• A valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Define and own product strategy, roadmaps and requirements and drive releases from concept to launch.
• Gather and prioritise customer and market needs and represent the customer throughout development projects.
• Act as the product and application expert for assigned products and solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D in the development of products and solutions.
• Plan and coordinate cross-functional activities, field trials and market introductions.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including pricing, product classification and phase-out to support business objectives.
