Allgon is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our Gothenburg embedded software team. You will help design scalable, maintainable software and collaborate across projects, reporting to the R&D Embedded Manager.
Your role covers requirements management, architectural best practices, and mentoring junior developers, with focus on fast decision-making and high-quality code in a global industrial environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of embedded software development with requirements management and architectural design.
- Familiarity with C programming and related toolchains.
- Experience with software development methodologies and structured processes.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies/protocols; ability to read schematics.
Responsibilities
- Represent embedded software in project core teams and act as a technical expert.
- Lead development of specifications, design and implementation of software solutions.
- Provide accurate time and resource estimations for software development.
- Ensure adherence to software architecture and design standards.
- Lead development tasks and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with product managers, project managers and engineers to align software with business needs.
- Analyze technical requirements considering cost, performance, usability and customer needs.
