Job summary

ABB Metallurgy Products in Västerås, Sweden, seeks an experienced HSE professional to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across manufacturing and projects. You will drive risk assessments, support incident investigations and ensure compliance with ABB requirements and ISO standards.

You will coordinate quality governance, maintain KPI reporting, and contribute to the development of the HSEQ framework in a global matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HSE within manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering or project environments.
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, reporting and management systems.
• Experience with audits, ISO standards and quality processes.
• Hands-on and structured approach, able to work independently and drive actions.
• Comfortable with documentation, KPIs, databases and reporting tools.
• Experience from international, matrix-organized environments is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive and continuously improve HSE processes, plans and ways of working.
• Support managers, project teams and operational personnel in risk assessments and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with ABB requirements, legal obligations and internal standards.
• Lead HSE reporting, KPI follow-up and documentation with proper evidence.
• Coordinate quality governance activities, including audits and ISO management systems.
