Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety and environmental initiatives across Power Transformers. You will develop and enforce comprehensive HSE programs, drive risk assessments and incident investigations, and mentor the HSE team while aligning with management goals.

Minimum 8–10 years in HSE, with ISO 14001/45001 knowledge, and strong leadership. English proficiency required; Swedish or other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive HSE experience in manufacturing or technology.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Fluency in English; other languages a plus.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE team and act as a member of the local management team.
• Develop, implement and improve HSE policies, systems and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and CAPAs.
• Drive audits, trainings and collaboration with contractors and authorities.
• Monitor HSE performance and ensure regulatory compliance and preparedness.
• Foster a culture of safety and sustainability across operations.
