Job summary

ABB Motion High Power (MOHP) Division in Västerås seeks a Project Manager to lead mid-size to large investment projects from kick-off to close-out, ensuring quality, budget and schedules. You will manage resources, risks and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders while driving improvements.

We expect 3+ years of industrial project management experience, a mechanical engineering degree, and fluency in Swedish and English. On-site role with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of solid experience in project management and industrial investments – ideally including customized machinery equipment in combination with automation solutions.
• Strong passion for investment and industrialization projects and capability of handling multiple projects (~2-3) in parallel.
• Significant knowledge of project planning (e.g. MS Project, WBS Scheduler), cost follow-up and budgeting (e.g. SAP), RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant post-secondary education, with a proven ability to deliver results in technical project environments.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Driver’s license B.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mid-size to large scale investment projects about 5-25 million SEK, ensuring quality, budget, and time targets are met.
• Manage project resources and risks in an effective, transparent and professional manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the field of project execution, by sharing knowledge and driving defined improvement activities.
• Represent the project in internal and external forums, including inspection/verification activities at supplier, stakeholder meetings, and formal project close-out.
