Job summary

MittLogik Consulting AB is seeking experienced HIL Development Engineers to design, build, and optimize hardware-in-the-loop environments that power modern automotive technology.

You will design and build rigs using platforms like dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, or Speedgoat; develop real-time models in MATLAB/Simulink; and troubleshoot end-to-end across models, networks, and hardware, including CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HIL experience designing and building test rigs.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink skills for real-time model deployment.
• Solid knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN/CAN FD/LIN/FP) and diagnostics tools.

Responsibilities

• Own design and maintenance of HIL test benches and ecosystems.
• Build and fine-tune plant and vehicle models in real-time.
• Configure ECUs, sensors, and networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
• Root-cause issues across models, networks, and hardware using CANoe/ControlDesk/INCA.
• Flash software, fix bench bugs, and collaborate with validation and development teams.
