The role focuses on heat exchanger technology, thermal design, and cross‑functional collaboration across regions, with a strong emphasis on standards and continuous improvement. The position is on-site in Lund.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in heat exchanger applications or thermal systems.
• Deep understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics and industrial process requirements.
• Experience in technical sales support, application engineering, or proposal engineering preferred.
• University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to develop optimized heat exchanger solutions (thermal design, material selection, configuration).
• Prepare accurate and competitive technical proposals and cost estimates.
• Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and manufacturable with performance and cost targets.
• Collaborate with sales, project management and engineering to support tendering and order execution.
• Contribute to technology vision within heat exchanger applications and related process tech.
• Assure correct selection and application of heat exchanger technologies in projects and processes.
• Support development of product competitiveness through technical improvements and Innovation.
• Contribute to technology value creation including IP awareness and input.
