Scandic is seeking a Head of Design to lead and develop the UX/UI design team, shaping digital product decisions early in the lifecycle. You will align design principles with business goals and partner with Product, Tech and CRO to embed customer insights across the organization.

You will create the conditions for your team to thrive, mentor designers, and advocate for high-quality design that drives value throughout Scandic’s digital journey—from booking to the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of UX/UI or product designers.
• Strong understanding of digital product design and craft.
• Experience with discovery, user research and mapping customer journeys.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation with Product, Tech, CRO and business.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support your team in craft and career while joining early product discovery.
• Shape business briefs and establish design principles and ways of working with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech and CRO to advocate for customer insight in decisions.
• Define the design direction and create value across Scandic's digital journey from booking to loyalty.
