Job summary

IKEA Älmhult AB is seeking a Reception Team Leader to shape how guests experience IKEA Älmhult, leading the reception teams across IKEA Hotell, Museum and related venues.

You will coach co-workers, ensure smooth front office operations, handle guest inquiries and contribute to service recovery and commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in daily operations.
• Strong service mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in reception, hospitality or guest-facing service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily work of the reception team, ensuring excellent service and smooth operations.
• Coach, support and develop co-workers through clear expectations, feedback and daily leadership.
• Ensure high-quality guest experiences throughout arrival, stay and departure.
• Support service recovery, guest communication and handling of more complex guest situations.
• Drive commercial initiatives such as upselling, cross-selling and guest engagement activities together with the team.
• Contribute to improvements in routines, ways of working and service delivery.
