Job summary

Volvo Group in Umeå offers a 15-month Graduate Program for Maintenance Engineering, combining home department work with program activities and international rotations. You will gain broad exposure to Volvo Group's operations and work with data analytics and AI to enable predictive maintenance.

You will join the BIW Maintenance Engineering team in Umeå, collaborating with engineers and maintenance staff and pursuing a path that leads to a permanent role from day one.

Qualifications

• Have completed a bachelor or master’s degree prior to the start of the program but not more than three years ago.
• Should not have more than three years' full-time relevant working experience in the field prior to starting the program, excluding part-time work during studies.
• You have a relevant education within Mechanical,Automotive, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineer or a related field
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
• Are willing to travel and participate in international short-term assignments
• Valid work or study permit for Sweden if not a citizen

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to synchronize maintenance methods and reinvestment needs.
• Develop models that ensure maintainability in new facilities.
• Participate in the development of maintenance methods and drive improvements across the Umeå plant.
