Job summary

Volvo Group in Umeå invites you to join the Graduate Program, a 15-month journey to develop future production and engineering leaders. You’ll spend 50% in your home department and 50% in program activities, with local and international rotations, targeted training in operations, engineering and purchasing, plus direct customer exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree completed within the last three years.
• Less than three years of full-time relevant work experience.
• Relevant education in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial Engineering.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Willing to travel internationally.
• Fluent in Swedish.
• Understanding of data integration, visualization and BI.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, Excel, SQL.
• Ability to translate operational needs into practical digital solutions.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, end-to-end flows and Lean.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement: lead and participate in paint production improvement projects.
• Optimize and problem-solve: apply structured methods to process optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work with production, maintenance, quality, logistics and other engineering functions.
• Innovate and grow: contribute to industrialization and technical development.
