Job summary

Epiroc in Örebro invites engineers to join our Global Support Engineers team within Technical Service. You will support service technicians worldwide, collaborate with R&D, Production, and Customer Centers, and help improve products through documentation and training.

The role is office-based with a hybrid work model, requires an engineering degree or equivalent, strong problem-solving, and excellent English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus. Occasional travel may be required.

• Good technical writing skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of Swedish is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing global technical support for Surface Drilling equipment and systems, primarily through remote channels.
• Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues with global teams.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including instructions, training materials, system descriptions, and guidance.
• Acting as a key link between Customer Centers, R&D, Production, Purchasing, Suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Contributing to product improvements, root-cause investigations, and quality initiatives.
• Supporting training activities and sharing technical knowledge across the organization.

Join our team of Global Support Engineers in Örebro! The team is part of the Technical Service department and you will be located in the Technical Service office next to R&D and Production in the Surface Division factory in Örebro.

As a Global Support Engineer, you will play an important role in helping our Customer Centers and service organizations around the world deliver exceptional support to customers. You will join a collaborative environment where technical expertise, problem-solving, and continuous learning are highly valued.

Your mission

The Technical Support team is responsible for providing technical support to our service technicians around the world.

Additionally, the role involves creating technical documentation such as training material, instructions and system descriptions as well as continuous product improvement work together with internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing global technical support for Surface Drilling equipment and systems, primarily through remote channels.
• Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues together with Customer Centers and service organizations worldwide.
• Supporting technologies such as electrical systems, automation, battery-electric machines, and autonomous solutions.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including instructions, training materials, system descriptions, and technical guidance.
• Acting as a key link between Customer Centers, R&D, Production, Purchasing, Suppliers, and other internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to product improvements, root-cause investigations, and quality initiatives to improve reliability and customer experience.
• Supporting training activities and sharing technical knowledge across the organization.

The role is primarily office-based and offers the opportunity to develop broad technical expertise across multiple products, systems, and technologies.
