Job summary

ABB Robotics is seeking a Global Team Lead for Production Validation to scale our validation capabilities across sites in Västerås, Sweden, China and the USA. You will lead a team of validation engineers, drive hardware, software, and data initiatives, and partner with Production, R&D and project teams to deliver high-quality testing.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical work, focusing on process improvement, risk management, and fast adoption of innovative validation

Qualifications

Experience leading complex technical initiatives in a global environment.
Proven ability to plan and execute projects and sprints.
Background in production validation, manufacturing or quality disciplines.

Responsibilities

Lead validation engineers to foster clarity, engagement and collaboration.
Coordinate projects and initiatives impacting Production Validation and manage risks.
Own sprint planning, set priorities and track deliverables.
Interface between validation, Production, R&D, projects and management.
Lead regular status meetings across sites to align stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement of validation processes and governance.
Provide hands-on validation support when needed and mentor the team.
