Job Description

Job Location: Tumba

Working Model: Hybrid

Global Quality Management Systems Lead

Are you ready to take a key role in strengthening quality and environmental management at DeLaval in Sweden, while also contributing to our global way of working? At DeLaval, we support dairy farmers with innovative solutions that help make sustainable food production possible. We are now looking for a Quality Management Systems Lead based in Tumba, south of Stockholm, who wants to develop practical, robust, and compliant management systems that create value locally and support consistency across DeLaval.

Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the local lead and subject matter expert for Quality and Environmental Management Systems at DeLaval in Tumba. You will work closely with the Swedish organization, site management, functions, and process owners to ensure that our systems are effective, audit-ready, and easy to apply in daily work. At the same time, you will contribute to selected global QEMS initiatives, share good practices, and help align local requirements with DeLaval’s broader standards and expectations.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and coordinate QEMS activities for DeLaval in Tumba, with close collaboration across local functions and site stakeholders.
  • Maintain and improve local quality documents, procedures, and instructions so they are clear, compliant, and useful in daily operations.
  • Support Swedish teams and process owners in building strong, practical, and compliant quality and environmental management practices.
  • Drive ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance for DLI Tumba and support local Management Reviews.
  • Lead the internal audit program in Sweden, strengthen audit readiness, and ensure corrective actions lead to lasting improvements.
  • Build local quality competence by providing QEMS training, coaching, and guidance to employees and leaders in Sweden.
  • Represent DeLaval in internal and external audits related to the Swedish organization and coordinate external audit activities when needed.
  • Contribute to global QEMS alignment by sharing Swedish best practices, supporting common ways of working, and collaborating with colleagues in other DeLaval locations.
  • Bring a quality systems perspective into relevant Gate and Launch Management project reviews, helping new solutions reach customers with confidence.
Qualifications

We believe you will thrive in this role if you enjoy working close to the business: understanding local needs, engaging people across functions, and making quality and environmental requirements simple to apply. You are comfortable taking ownership in a Swedish site context, while also collaborating with international colleagues when common standards, audits, or improvement initiatives require alignment across DeLaval. To be successful in this role we also believe that you have:

  • Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field or experience equivalent to similar degrees
  • Ideally about 5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or quality focused environment
  • Strong process competence and experience driving process improvements
  • Certified Lead Auditor
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing ISO 9001/14001 quality systems
  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and ISO/TS16949 is an advantage
  • Experience in project management
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written

Beyond your formal experience, you bring curiosity, ownership, and the ability to turn standards into practical improvements. You are structured and self-motivated, with the confidence to work independently and the collaboration skills to succeed with colleagues in production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and other functions. You communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, build trust with stakeholders, and know how to influence without direct authority.

You also have a strong continuous improvement mindset and the drive to align, follow up, and deliver quality initiatives that make a measurable difference. Attention to detail matters in this role, but so does the ability to see the bigger picture and help others understand why quality systems are essential to DeLaval’s success.
