Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Development (NPD) to lead international NPD projects within the Business Unit Brazed and Fusion Bonded heat exchangers (BU BFB). You will report to steering committees and line managers, with colleagues globally, including in Lund, Sweden.

The role requires strong project management expertise, cost control, risk management, and excellent English communication to drive on-time, on-spec, on-budget delivery across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., TollGate, Agile).
• Experience with cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced user of MS Project.
• Strong risk management capability.
• Experience with Cost-benefit Analysis (CBA).
• Solid understanding of product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Product Development (NPD) process on time, on specification and on budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, production, quality, procurement).
• Define project objectives, timelines, budgets, resource requirements for NPD initiative.
• Monitor project process, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulation and quality standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
• Make decisions and manage allocated resources within given framework and budget.
