Job summary

Hitachi Vantara Corporation in Sweden is seeking a commissioning engineer to work on HVDC systems globally. You will be responsible for commissioning valve cooling systems, ensuring quality, and coordinating between teams.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in relevant engineering fields, programming experience with PLCs, and must be fluent in English. The position requires extensive travel to various sites, including offshore platforms.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree within Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Automation, or equivalent through experience.
• Practical and enjoy traveling around the world and working at HVDC sites.
• Experience in other auxiliary systems, such as Aux power and HVAC, will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for commissioning of HVDC valve cooling system.
• Understanding of programming control functions and using the Hitachi Energy specific PLC system.
• Responsible for working with test instructions and test records.
