Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Control and Protection Commissioning Engineer to organize and execute commissioning activities for HVDC systems. You will manage testing procedures and lead client interactions ensuring customer commitments.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with Control and Protection or SCADA. The role offers diverse benefits, flexible working hours, and potential global career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Control and Protection or SCADA from design or testing stages.
• Experience in AC substations or HVDC technology.
• Experience in commissioning work in plants of varying size and complexity.
• Knowledge of MACH, IEC61850, HVDC projects or IED relay programming is an advantage.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute testing and commissioning activities.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients.
• Ensure understanding of scope and division of work.
• Communicate changes to the Commissioning Manager.
• Support tender work related to commissioning scope.
