Job summary

Torque Engineering AB seeks an experienced HSSE Specialist to develop and continuously improve the company’s HSSE management system. You will lead risk assessments, contractor HSSE processes, incident investigations, and performance monitoring to strengthen safety and sustainability across operations.

The role requires strong HSSE expertise, leadership, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field, plus recognized HSSE qualifications.
• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent certification is required.
• Extensive HSSE experience in high-risk settings and strong leadership track record.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE management systems, risk management, and incident investigations.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the HSSE management system.
• Lead risk assessments, ALARP reviews, bow-tie analyses, and hazard controls.
• Support contractor HSSE qualification, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
• Lead or support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Enhance road and transport safety and drive audits and assurance activities.
• Develop HSSE KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Deliver HSSE training and safety culture initiatives.
