Job summary

SSC Space AB in Solna, Sweden, invites applications for a global Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager. The role combines strategic and operational support across the business, integrating HSE into the SSC Space Global Management System and aligning with ISO standards.

You will lead risk assessments, audits, and regulatory programs, define roles, develop policies, and drive improvements across industrial and aerospace environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in health, safety and environment management.
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience leading audits, risk assessments and regulatory compliance programs.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, infrastructure environments desirable.
• Strong knowledge in environment, health and safety matters is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain procedures for monitoring applicable HSE laws and regulations and evaluate compliance.
• Define roles and responsibilities related to environment, health and safety.
• Develop, maintain and communicate policies and training in line with ISO 14001/45001.
• Oversee and support implementation.
• Support risk assessments related to HSE.
• Ensure proper management of environmental permits.
• Participate in corrective actions and incident investigations.
• Identify and lead improvement initiatives.
• Act as internal advisor on environment, health and safety matters.
• Systematic follow up on HSE related KPI: s.
