Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Västerås, Sweden, is seeking an experienced HSE & Quality Specialist to partner with operations and leadership, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety and quality across projects.
You will lead risk assessments and investigations, integrate ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 into processes, develop training, and monitor KPIs to improve performance and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety.
- 5+ years' HSE experience in industrial or energy environments.
- Solid knowledge of Swedish H&S legislation with relevant certifications.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsabilités
- Coach and support HSE & Quality in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations, policies and management systems.
- Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Drive and support HSE & Quality programs, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Integrate ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 principles into operational processes and decisions.
- Develop and deliver training and safety awareness activities.
- Monitor HSE & Quality KPIs and report on performance.
