Einride SWE is seeking a Head of Safety to lead a global team overseeing safety in autonomous operations. This role includes developing and maintaining a rigorous Safety Management System aligned with international standards and governing protocols.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience within regulated safety-critical sectors and extensive knowledge of ISO standards related to autonomous vehicles. This position is full-time with flexibility in location, based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in a safety-critical industry.
• 10+ years in automated systems or autonomous vehicles.
• Hands-on leadership in engineering development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and improvement of Safety Management System (SMS).
• Own end-to-end safety case for autonomous operations.
• Establish safety governance structures for operations.

Skills

Expertise in safety management systems

Proficiency with ISO 26262

Experience in automated systems
